Frontier Communications, one of the nation’s largest telecommunications providers, needed support for its Central Region—Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Indiana, Iowa, and Nebraska. Our client enlisted us to position Frontier not only as a leader in the high-tech sector, but a leader in the communities it served.

Asher developed a unified strategy to encourage consumers to use Frontier as their cable, internet and phone provider. The campaign included the following services and materials:

• Direct mail
• Digital marketing
• Billboards
• Public relations
• Internal communications
• Market research

In addition to helping Frontier amplify its voice to businesses and consumers in market-specific campaigns, Asher actively solicited customer feedback. We designed and coordinated a series of focus groups, then hopscotched across more than 1,000 miles to capture valuable information from end users in markets unique in both demographics and competition.

The platform that Asher established has allowed Frontier’s largest consumer and geographic region to create unified marketing campaigns that are locally customizable to each state’s sales offer. Based on the focus group research Asher conducted, Frontier was able to modify their direct mail and other materials to reflect the specific preferences of each local market.
