Clean water is something many of us take for granted. As part of a corporate social responsibility campaign, that was also designed to grow incremental sales, Asher partnered with Coca-Cola to bring a multi-media campaign to life.
For every Dasani purchased, money was donated to World Vision in a project that literally worked for everyone. It’s always rewarding when advertising not only moves the needle, but makes the world a little bit better.
Bucking the overall national trend of declining sales, bottled water sales actually increased over the previous year. But perhaps more importantly, we managed to move the needle with the target demographic, gaining invaluable social media and word-of-mouth buzz. Coca-Cola, a major supplier of Subway Restaurant Corp, was very supportive about this program, and plans to present it to every US market. A total of over $125,000 was raised to help supply clean drinking water to those in need. That’s success, no matter how it’s measured.
