Freddie Slam

Representing more than 600 Subway® restaurants in the Atlanta area, Asher partnered with one of the region’s hottest sports properties and their flagship player. We developed a traffic-driving promotion with the Atlanta Braves’ Freddie Freeman.

Asher developed an influencer partnership between Subway’s Atlanta market partnered and beloved Braves All-Star Freddie Freeman, titling the campaign “Freddie Slam.” This traffic driver rewarded customers with a free sandwich the day after any Freddie homerun. We shot a spot with Freddie—or, more accurately, 23 different Freddies—to illustrate how many home runs he hits.

Our campaign saw immediate impact and sustained momentum. First, our creative boosted sales by 4% across the Atlanta market. Additionally, drink incidence (the number of subs sold with a drink) rose from 52% to 56%. One incidence point results in roughly $1,000 gross profit per year per store.
