Asher Agency (KMBlu LLC) is honored to now be able to offer its clients and partners a mutually beneficial and rewarding benefit.
On January 23, we received Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) certification from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and are now eligible for federal set-aside contracts and subcontracts.
This is a meaningful start to our 51st year in business, and we are actively sharing this good news with those who would like to partner with us to do business with our federal government.
We serve clients in ways that positively impact their communities, their employees, and the overall economy – with the goal of always exceeding their expectations. Our team is anxious to bring this energy, creativity, and strategy to agencies of the federal government and their partners.
The Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) program was established in December 2000, with the goal of awarding at least five percent of all federal contracting dollars to women-owned small businesses each year.
We are proud to be among them, and to provide outstanding career and leadership opportunities for the 48 full-time employees and contractors in Fort Wayne and Indianapolis, Indiana; Charleston, West Virginia; and Washington, D.C.

This federal certification builds on a priority goal of Asher Agency since President Kara Kelley and Chief Financial Officer Megan Bennett took ownership of the agency in July 2022. Asher became an Indiana Women’s Business Enterprise in 2023 and still holds considerable state contracts.
We are dedicated – as we look at the focus of this year’s Women’s History Month, being celebrated in March – to continue our commitment to be leadership role models and mentors to the next generation of women in business.
Asher is the oldest agency in Indiana and has more than 100 clients throughout the U.S. Over the years, Asher has expanded its offerings to reflect today’s media environment, including digital, social media, video production, and website development. While much has changed during the past five decades, one thing has remained constant: Asher’s focus on providing world-class marketing services to its clients.
